Representing the new blood from Cuba, Havana Negra are highly talented jazz musicians (most band members being winners of the “JoJazz Award” for the country’s most talented Young Jazz musician) who, with singers from a Rumba and Son background, play the Cuban music of today. Their music has a cinematic sound, at times traditional, at others, violent.
